Happy Holidays from PB&J Water Christmas Recipes #2

Happy Holidays from PB&J Water
Here's a quick holiday themed recipe
for delicious fruit punch.

  • 1 can of lemon-lime soda like Sierra Mist
  • 1 bottle of Cranberry Juice Blend
  • 1 cup of sugar (try to use superfine sugar if you can find it)
  • 1 cup frozen lemonade concentrate (thawed)
  • 1 cup frozen orange juice concentrate (thawed)
  • 1 cup of PB&J Water
  • ice made with a PB&J Water 5 Stage Reverse-Osmosis System

  1. Combine the soda and the cranberry juice blend. Add the sugar, and stir vigorously until combined.
  2. Add the thawed concentrates, stir.
  3. If you want a strong punch you can leave as is and just add some ice. You may wish to dilute with up to three cups of water (add water to taste) depending on your personal preference. Remember adding ice will also dilute the punch a bit so don't go overboard on both ice and water. If you use PB&J Water's Reverse-Osmosis system to make ice, it will be crystal clear! :)
  4. Add your garnishes-- a bag of fresh cranberries, lemon slices (wash the lemons well if including the peels), perhaps a sprig of fresh rosemary or two for a fresh kick.
  5. Note: You can also make this ahead of time-- simply add all ingredients EXCEPT the garnishes and soda. Refrigerate for a few hours and add the remaining ingredients when guests arrive.

Happy Holidays from PB&J Water! Christmas tips #3

Happy holidays from PB&J Water!

A few quick tips for a stress free christmas.

Practice Breathing

When we are stressed our heart beat will raise
which can make breathing difficult.
Work on slowing down your breathing
and take time to breathe deeply.

Decaffeinated coffee

Caffeine can put your body into stress which can
raise your cortisol levels which prepare
you for, "fight or flight" situations.
Being in a room full of family members
all of which drinking coffee or caffeinated cocoa
can severely raise the tension. Instead you might offer
decaffeinated coffee and/or herbal holiday tea
especially if it's made with PB&J Water!

Breaking tradition is not always a bad thing.

There might be a tradition of going to McDonalds
the night before Christmas. If the majority
of your family members suggest an alternative
like being at home, maybe they've outgrown such a tradition.

Remember to Have fun!

After all this time of year is all about being together with your loved ones.
Use these tips to further enjoy the holiday season.
